It has become an ideal space for cyber criminals to remain anonymous while preying on victims. As the number of cyberspace users increase, so do the new opportunities for exploitation and the need of protecting computers, networks, digital applications and data from unintended or unauthorized access, change or destruction. This paper proposes a policy directed examination on cyberspace crime and its impact on national security. It includes a profile of cooperation among criminals, organized crime and hostile organizations and discusses the growth of black market in IT services.
